What’s your latest Bonsai related purchase?

This is my first tree that I got for my grow tent setup. It’s a willow leaf ficus. I plan on getting five more ficus next month before it gets too cold to ship them. As well as some other stuff I’ll need for my bonsai gardening. After that? I really want to collect some Wazakura tools and some pots from Wigert’s Bonsai over the winter.

Bought it on impulse once you buy a larger pot it's to easy too add some little ones coz there a fraction of the price, the roots are definitely going to grab the frog in the bottom if I put a tree in it though

Baton Rouge JM from MrMaple. According to them found north of Houston. Very similar to Sango kaku, but with larger leaves. I always wanted a coral bark, and being this one heat tolerant made the decision easier. The tree trunk is very pliable. It was folded by the middle to place inside the shipping box. I took it out and extended the trunk. It is staying upright by itself now. The growth looks to be very upright, as branches shoot straight up from the trunk.

Acer palmatum 'Baton Rouge' is an interesting new cultivar that is very hard to find. This brilliant mid-sized tree is extremely heat tolerant and originates just outside of Houston, Texas. It is noted as a cultivar of Acer palmatum that does very well in full sun for the South.

This first a Ginkgo I accidentally bought off one of the fb auctions. The start price was low and there was no bin so I bit. Didn't expect to get it. The pot is one I had on hand because I broke the pot it came in while unpacking it. The other is a honeysuckle I won at our recent club auction. I'm fairly certain it is lonicera japonica or maybe morrowii, but there are also hybrids and others that are invasive in Georgia. I just liked it and thought it made a cool raft style. I will probably be asking questions from those with experience with honeysuckle.
