What’s your latest Bonsai related purchase?

I also bought a 1 kg 6mm wire from Stone Lantern on sale, definitely going to order other sizes before the sale ends.
I'm not sure the sale ever really ends at Stone Lantern... but the current wire prices are appealing.

Picked up two Chinese elms from Evergreen Gardenworks. Not that Brent needs an endorsement on here, but the price and shipping were very good!

'Catlin' in 3.5" pot

In the spring, both will go in root pouches and I'll do my best to keep my hands off of them.

Nooooo. This is just the opening act. The main event will hopefully benefit all North American Bonsai practitioners!
Your collection rivaling national arboretums is indeed an asset. Collecting from all of the best and most famous American bonsai masters. And the willingness to share so much of it online!
I just hope I can make my way to your neck of the woods at some point so I can visit. When/ if travel is ever cheaper I'd make a trip just to see the collection

Picked up a juniper at our show, liked the trunk, seemed very healthy... Also, for some reason, I bought an orchid at a big local show...

Looks like fat head Larry had the life I want

What cart is that? Maybe I can use it as a bookshelf when plats aren’t on it >_>
I have the smaller one. They do have a three tier. I've only ten tropical...so need for more with my having another grow bench area across the room. Now I did go and buy the grids they offer. To slip inside the trays. Just to keep pots out of runoff water. Nice clean look.

I'm going to throw a wild guess....

Buying Eisei-en nursery and opening a bonsai "school" "a la" Mirai

I can drive there easier than driving to Milwaukee, just saying.

Nah. But there might be something else you could make the drive out for in the future! (Or now if you wanna visit your ol pal Izzy 😂)

Trust me, if I am near the area you will be getting a PM here...

no more green tops. this putty was $2.23. $9 to my door.

Jack's nutes just dropped the 0 12 26 so i had to jump on that. paid about $125 total, but the 25lb bag will last for a few years, even though i don't use it for just bonsai.
