Azalea Picture Identification Thread

'Budne' this is a new cultivar named after Budne Reinke. I believe this comes from the Klimavicz line. He asked me if I could root some cuttings for him. Nice flowers.....shape, pattern, and variation.

That 'Meguriai' seems mislabeled. It should be red. Not pinkish like this.

The 'Certoryje' stays that small. And yes it is very red. However, I believe I have larger flowering seedlings from it that are basically the same colour of red.
The Czech name though is just so hard. I can never write it. It may be one of the toughest European obtusum/kurume types.

Talking about names, I noticed recently that Hachmann cultivar are now being sold by Monrova under the 'Kimono' trademark:

Wasn't there a person here a few years ago who was working at Monrovia? I thought that place shut down, then there was someone here who said they worked there as another nursery had bought the old property. And the guy was going through the stock plants.
They also call it 'May Snow'.

Yes, the base patterning of 'Cinderella' looks excellent.

Nice Yumehira. Did you make those signs yourself? I really think those small Japanese wooden signs with the cultivar Kanji are cool. But these are 3d printed? The kanji makes the names so compact.
Roran likely coming straight from Mr Shibue?
