Noticed a Ginkgo seedling while weeding the garden so in a pot it goes.

Big female tree out front but I'd say the lawn mower gets most of them.

I got to try rooting hormone on my twig that randomly fell off/was attacked by my lack of spacial awareness.

Checked my celtis africana contest seeds. Using wood pellets as a top mulch to retain moisture but in this plastic container moisture seems to really be The Prisoner.

Bought a blueberry from my favorite black strip store and trimmed and practiced wiring. It was root bound and bone dry. Soaked it for 10 minutes, now have to wait until it drys a bit before being able to replace the soil with a better mix.

Also found out how sharp the wazakura tool I used for trimming is. Yes, blood was spilled!

Styled this tree at a club workshop. Really fun environment, with about 40 people working on trees. I got lucky and had the great Dave de Groot assigned to my table!

Detail wiring to come. Still unsure about that lower branch, but I think I’ll leave it on for the year to see how it grows in.
