I'm sorry man. Wish you better luck.I think they dont care about repellants when its 20 below zero.
I'll start over again.
And will come up with something different.

Sounds like it could have been far worse! Glad it wasn't.Thanks and nothing to worry about. I’m pretty much all healed up now going into week 5. Heading out to get firewood this afternoon so that’ll be a good test. I also fell on a roof. Not all the way through, caught myself on a rafter, 4 ribs fractured on the front, 2 on the back all on one side. The first week wasn’t fun, since then not so bad.
My friend is from there. They also can see snow in July! ?...remind myself a -1F is far warmer than what she is seeing.Wow, -42 in Montana. in March.
I feel like half the people I meet down here are from Ohio....and this explains why!Feels like -1F...and usually we are ten degrees cooler than the weather forecast being lake front. My outdoor sensor is in the tropical area for winter. So...yeah, it's to drop cooler by 10am...then warm up some. I'm so sick of the cold. I went and started my jeep an additional five minutes early to buffer the cold, for when we headed to the bus stop.
Nice and functional garage.25°F in my yard for the second days in a row. Everything outside is frozen and everything else is inside my garage until further notice…
Hopefully only one more day

Man, that sucks (or will suck) if it turns out they got your trees again. If the varmints get hungry enough, repellents won't keep them away.I think they dont care about repellants when its 20 below zero.

That maple came from a warm greenhouse in Connecticut about 3 weeks ago and was already pushing leaves when it showed up... the garage can be functional but is currently full of crap.Nice and functional garage.
That J maple is much further along then here.
You still buying maples? Someone needs to check you in to some sort of addict rehab! That maple came from a warm greenhouse in Connecticut about 3 weeks ago and was already pushing leaves when it showed up... the garage can be functional but is currently full of crap.
When was the last time that garage saw a car? Yikes! We have a fairly large barn that is our crap reservoir but the garage still tends to accumulate too much "stuff" especially in winter. Partly becauseThat maple came from a warm greenhouse in Connecticut about 3 weeks ago and was already pushing leaves when it showed up... the garage can be functional but is currently full of crap.
Hah! Most of my maples have been grown out by me from cuttings, seedlings, or grafts... this is the most expensive maple I've ever purchased and it set me back around $100. @coh , it is a kiyohime from Mark... and my woodworking equipment along with some antique furniture precluded the potential for cars ever to reside inside. You still buying maples? Concrete bunker.Man, that sucks (or will suck) if it turns out they got your trees again. If the varmints get hungry enough, repellents won't keep them away.
My advice - build a small shed or some kind of structure for wintering your trees where you can absolutely keep the critters out.
yep that would do it. Hope you don't loose much this year...Concrete bunker.
3 feet high above ground one foot below.
It isnt looking good.yep that would do it. Hope you don't loose much this year...
can't like this.It isnt looking good.
That is normally the case... either you have zero eaten or all eaten. Sorry to hear this happen again on you.It isnt looking good.
