Cotoneaster Progression

Second years styling on this cotoneaster.
I struggle with seeing whether this is better or a step back.

It's a step forward in development.
Cutting back those long branches will hopefully promote back budding and more dense foliage on those branches

I saw the crossing wires after I took the picture and went back and fixed it.

The other cotoneaster got an initial styling. Both trees are 4 years old.

Took a bunch of cuttings to root. Probably not the best time of year for it, but I had them and a couple empty plastic pots.
