Corkbark JBP, 'Hachi Gen'

Ah yes, pining for pines! :D
Another infamous bonsai affliction.
How long do you think you can hold out?
Tempting, maybe buy some seeds like everyone is doing.Just to get it out of my system. The cuttings method for better roots would probably work pretty good in my propagator.

when can I expect to have something such as your pine?

Here is mine......

😝 I need to look at your book!

I enjoyed seeing this one this weekend. I got a picture of it "in action" I'll try to post.

Sensational needle health!!! 😚

Nice and tight, proportional branching and still just great color and no sign of any "nasties"...not even any "mechanical" damage...pup or progeny...🐶🦝👜👣

good shot Kodak! 👀

Any updates?
Not really. I sent it up to Bjorn’s early last year and he didn’t get a chance to work on it. I brought it home in November and also didn’t get a chance to work on it. I repotted it in March, needs to have needles pulled now, and get wired out this fall.

That’s a better stand for it than the one with the curled side “legs”.
I don’t care for either of them really, but the curved legs one is way too small for sure.

That pine is sofa king nice. How are the candles this year ? Are they reduced so much overtime they do not extend the boundaries of the needles ?
