Hi all , just noticed on my white pine most of the new tips have turn brown , it’s been repotted this early spring . Gets sun from about 12:pm until sundown, not sure what’s going on but I cut off the dead tips and sprayed with copper fungicide , thinking it might be tip blight also noticed some sap is leaking from the main the man truck

Trunk pitch is where the graft join is at. Was tree bent recently? It appears as damage to the join area🤔. It may also be caused by sideways pull of weight on the cascade. My suggestion is to seal the area well with cut paste to protect and aid healing and it would be good to give support under trunk for a couple of years for wood to grow there and do not allow snow or ice to accumulate on tree this Winter. This could just be the beginning of a graft failure.

Thanks for the replay , Its was bent over 2- years ago, I did use cut paste , but will add more today

How long have you had this tree @steve27 ?
Are these before or after pictures?
Both would help.
I've Had this tree for about 4 years , it was a nursery fine , a couple of years ago my friend and me put a bigger bend in it and it did well was in a pond basket at that point
I repotted it this spring and it looked fine until I notice what you see from the pictures . I will search and see if I have before pictures
