, meaning no aesthetic was applied, just branches were directed the way giving them all maximum light.Before

Hit up a new nearby nursery today, found this 12 inch pot with 2 jades for 100 bucks...never thought I'd do a Crassula bonsai but, how could I pass this one up.
2ft tall, 2 ft wide, bigger trunk is almost 4 inches in diameter.

Not today but a couple of days ago found out that one black pine seed finally popped up. One of like 50 :-(
Also, wired a 75 cents juniper. That thing was half dead when I got it and since it seemed to have recovered some of its strength I went ahead and proceed to insult it some more.

Removed the last of the autumn leaves and trimmed and wired my big old flowering pear. It has a lot of flower buds... looking forward to spring

Repotted the jades I bought for 100 bucks today. Here's the bigger one, photos don't do it any justice...not a fan of jades but damn I love this beast.

This Spring I received a pinus Parviflora Atco Goyo.
Just cleaned up the old dead needles, and did a little wiring to let light into lower foliage
that will be used to rebuild with. 1st though I need to replace soil.
Did some virtual pruning below...
The little central shoot I plan to use as the 1st branch.
It will take 5 years just to build that branch to the thickness of the branch it is replacing there on the left.
So, there's a chance I will change my mind, but I doubt it.
The virtual prune in the last picture gives a staggered effect to the trunk line.

I'm constantly checking the temps in my shed. First year with this setup and it's an improvement over the cheap greenhouse, but my temps are still dropping down to 28℉. I am going to look at more powerful heaters or some of those large heated mats for melting sidewalk snow. I have an inkbird powerstrip for better temperature control, but finding a heater that works with the strip is a different story.

Finally got my sweetgum clump repotted. Definitely needed a repot. It had been dormant a while but just started pushing new buds (unexpectedly). I had this old white ceramic pot (filled with weeds) so I cleaned it out and put the sweetgum in it. I'll eventually find the perfect pot for it.

You may be drawing too power for the Inkbird. When I was researching thermostats four years ago that was what seem3d to be the issue.
