grabbed (2) chunky yews a landscaper locally had dug up. I stopped and loaded them in the trailer.




Also dug up this juniper from a client's which I had regrown down low after slowly cutting it back.



Will get it in pumice tomorrow.

Potted this kobai 2 azalea I got from Mehan Miniatures a couple years back. It was in the ground and bulked up a lot comparing to the twig ot was, though it's still just a twig. It got severely pruned by rabbits over the winter..
It has a few flower buds.

Made a stream to re-create the Fairy Garden scene I did years ago, inspired by @Fidur and his charming little scenes.

This is from the last weekend as well as today.

Cleaned up the leaves around/under the benches and moved all the large pines and junipers out of the coldframe last weekend.

Deciduous trees will stay in the coldframe a bit longer and will come out once I'm sure we won't get a freak freeze or frost.

Purged the sprinkler hoses out to maje sure no sand or debris are in them and hooked up the sprinklers.

Cleaned the trays under the tropical trees so they are clean before I fill them with water next weekend for my trip to MABS. Trimmed 3 of my BRT a bit.

Club meeting about cutting vs pinching. Group work on mugos followed by burning bush dig. I'm exhausted.

Drove an hour out of the way to avoid the flooded areas (yes we have major flooding for the second time this year) to get to a workshop Jennifer Price did with 4 of us yesterday. I brought 4 trees along in a trailer, had to turn around 2 times and try other routes to get around the flood waters. Doing a second workshop with her this Sunday. Supposed to rain all night, has rained for 3 days straight...bout to build a damned ark.

Oh...and check out the new growth on my big amur honeysuckle. Less than 2 weeks I'd say since leaves opened. No wonder they are so invasive.
