What’s your latest Bonsai related purchase?

Had to stop by late in the day at NEBG in Bellingham on our way back from Mt Washington. Someone had purchased most juniper ore bonsai that day and more coming next week.
Got my 1st collected tree and it's my 1st Larch.
A nicely formed procumbens some 93 yr old man had brought in.
They picked up the cost of the fertiliser :)
I was not argumentive.
Shoulda got more pots

The workaround for now is to use the image icon next to the link icon.

Trays for my plant shelf.
Thought they send me the wrong size, but they fulled me.

I wish they were a bit longer, but it wasn't an option. I guess I can squeeze a couple small ots on the side.

I use Bootstrap Farmer trays for my plant shelves in the winter. They're deep and have raised parts that keep the pots from sitting in water. I also put additional cheap humidity trays turned upside down to keep the pots higher.

Nice. I wanted something a bit prettier for this one, which comes with loss of some functionality. I do have lots of flimsier black trays like that I can use for my other shelf. Thank you for the idea. :)

Is that enough suspense?

River Tamarind. Couldn't say no for $100... Even though I needed to rearrange my office and buy another grow light just for it.

Needs some work, but that can wait until the late spring/summer.

Yeah sorry I didn't ask about the one new tree. Tamarind... I'll have to look it up but that looks like a Locust Tree to me.

I finally pulled the trigger on a pruner with some power.
but I'm an employee and I got it on sale

It's basically our pipe crimping tool with a heavy-duty bypass pruner on the end
I was kidding really. I completely understand needing the right tool for the job. Never worked with plants but I've worked in construction most of my life.
