I just bought two more green JM seedlings from this nice fella in eastern NC. Seedlings are from mikawa yatsubusa so they should have similar growth habits and they are half the price as the ones from Mr. Maple. I have an idea in mind for a group planting.

I got my trees today and they are a joke. Both have verticillium wilt and one is probably already dead. I’m demanding a replacement with a healthy tree or I will go through PayPal for a full refund. I clipped off the infected tips on the other one and sealed the cuts. Hopefully it will make it.I just bought two more green JM seedlings from this nice fella in eastern NC. ^ Those are more than likely dead. I'd keep them away from my other trees and get a full refund.

Yea…. So far no reply from the merchant. I’m going to give it a few days then open a claim with PayPal. Until then they are far away from the rest of my trees.

'Omoi-no-mama' and 'Benichidori' Ume from Brent at Evergreen came in today, I'd have liked 'Une...?' as well because I dig mystery cultivars, but no dice there! Also got a bitsy little 'Shindeshojo' maple because I'd been wanting one for quite a while and auctions gets absolutely bloodthirsty over them. Very good condition on them all and ebullient root systems too, looking forward to next grow season to start developing them.

Oh my bad, I thought you meant a Maple Beni Chidori. Those are tough to find.

Finally got resolution from ETSY. I got a full refund for these. The dead one is going to the trash can in the morning and I’m going to isolate the second one and see what it does in the spring.
Not a purchase but my newest acquisition. It was left by my younger kiddo by my keys and wallet this morning. I work very early and leave before the rest of the house wakes up so pardon the dark photo (I’ll post a couple more shots when I get home)
