Picked up this spruce yamadori yesterday from Vince (Satoyama Bonsai).

I really love the exposed root deadwood on this one.

Here it is after Mauro Stemberger styled it in spring 2023.

I've gotta punch back the new growth this week, it has really pushed out hard this year.
