Ummm I dont see the pic...
If it is fungus, I hope youre not allergic to mold lol
did you say Tribbles???
this is just an undeveloped bird egg with no calcification of the shell
ive seen it many times
I have no idea whether or not you are joking ... but all of the clues available do not contradict your theory. Now --------- either give me a "LOL, I was only joking" or tell me more about these "many times". I think that I speak for both myself and for eferguson1974 ... we'd like to know more.
So it's edible?take a torch or lighter to it - you will probably smell the cooked egg yolk
It makes sense, it fits the facts, and I believe you. That is pretty much my first description of it anyway (#27) ..... but ........I've seen this in nests on my property several times. A bird expels an undeveloped egg -... Sometimes when a bird is stressed or ill etc. or had eggs already and had a late one start and not fully form.
Usually to see it you have to be checking a nest as I have a few times for new eggs or if a bird leaves the nest afterwards. If it happens in an active nest the bird or babies will just eat it.
... what sort of answer do you want to hear?....... this isnt really a mystery to anyone is it?? .
boring ...an undeveloped egg - this isnt really a mystery to anyone is it??
uhhhh i dont think so - i guess technically if it doesnt kill you its edible hahaSo it's edible?
I agree with you, Osoyoung. He's probably right ... but who cares. I should have put a warning at the beginning of this thread:boring ...
We all did until this choppy fellow had to come in and tell us the truth.Well I did my best to keep it lively!
Well if you see another one box it up and send it to Frary bc i know hes a bit wild and maybe he'll eat it on video for usWe all did until this choppy fellow had to come in and tell us the truth.
Yeah, we wanna know for sure! I think I mentioned it looking like a soft boiled egg.. Should be easy to figure out, is there a birdsnest close enough to be the source? I would look for one. Because there may be enough for Frary to make eggs benedict! Or toss a bit of sauce and salt and give it a try.. Im sorry, its too far for me, if it got here at all, it surely would be funky (at best) after about a month in the postal system. Can y'all believe there are no street names or numbers for addresses? Its "pass where the mango tree USED to be, and 100 meters on the left. Thats a typical description, no lie! So I wont get to try IT, whatever it is...(add sad face here). Does it still look the sAme? Wouldnt some critter eat an egg? Racoons, rats, dogs, cats, something? I gotta know! I keep falling off the edge of my seat(lol)!I have no idea whether or not you are joking ... but all of the clues available do not contradict your theory.
