Recently Purchased An Acer Rubrum Seed Kit From Jonsteen And I Have Questions

I will have the same amount, I can make that promise. Don't have much in the way of money and with our rent going up like $300, that leaves less disposable income each month.

Unless a miracle happens, all I see me having is this seed growing into whatever it grows into.

First advice find a cheaper home and tell landlord get lost:mad:! Second advice ignore naysayers this site.

I totally second not paying that rent increase.

But don't move!

Just dont pay that shit!

Welcome to Crazy!

A snowglobe, that does not die, may be a better way to connect with the old home....
I found one free on Craig'slist!

We would lo be to be able to move, but we spent 6 months looking for another place to live, but could not find anything with three or four bedrooms that we could afford. Everything was above our price range and we looked not just in our town but in others as well. With having my seventeen year old living with me full-time, my other two little ones every Thursday to Sunday and my girlfriend's son every other weekend, that many rooms is a must. Every place we looked would be more expensive than here unless we wanted to live in not so nice neighborhoods.

The problem is that I have to stay within a fifty mile radius of where my kid's mom lives per state law and my girlfriend needs to be as close to her job as she can. She works for the state revenue department and while she would like to find another job, she will not find one that pays what she gets paid now and with the benefits package to go with it.

We're also below the sixty days notice threshold and it would be more expensive to move then it would be to stay. I did talk to someone in the leading office yesterday and they are letting us stay with a cheaper rent, not by much though and we aren't going to have to pay the pet rent, which is what caused the monthly to be so high.

I don't know exactly where you are located but you may want to check out this club http://centralfloridabonsaiclub.com/club-info/meeting-location/

That’s rookie thinking. Gotta up those bonsai numbers.

Burry the whole root section in the ground, with a wire tightened just above the scar no the trunk. Make sure the wireis well below the substrate. Then let the plant shootfor a year. Next spring you should have a good start of oroots sprouting from just above the wire, and you can remove the rest of the root.

This is truly enlightening! Thank you very much. I will definitely be applying this technique. Is there a specific term for what to call this approach? I have found information on this by searching terms such as, nebari root wiring trunk girdle...but have yet to find specific terminology for this.

I am a northerner living in Florida and miss the Maple trees from up there. Just want a little bit of home in the form of a tree.
I'm in Polk county FLA and the area is lousy with Maples. They are literally in every spot that stays a bit damp, around lakes, ditches, and any sort of creek bank.
