The owner of this tree could afford the material but don’t not take of it… such is common for alot of stuff that comes in. RMJ if not regularly pinches will grow leggy like this one above…. So it looks hella leggy and needs back budding desperately. I know they’re are RMJ with tighter foliage.. I have seen it .. but this is why people graft either tighter RMJ foliage or graft Shimpaku all together.

I really like the open natural feel of this clump. Its like a bunjin clump planting. Would like to know future plans for this / current state!

I also really like the ponderosa clump. Very reminiscent of Goyomatsu compositions that you would find in Japan.
