The cutting you gave me is doing really well. Planting it over plywood was a really good idea because the base has thickened dramatically and the root spread is phenomenal. I almost want to grow the tree as is into a bonsai, thanks for the great material! And is that the beginning of growing a branch structure you got there? I would have probably developed at least three of your older trees into bonsai pot's or training pots by now if I was in your situation. Is there anything you are waiting on when it comes to trunk size or you just like growing out materialgrowth is starting up again with cooler temps. cat stepped on this new shoot by the callus, but it backbudded fine.
