Hand sprayers

I have a collection of hand sprayers from the cheap squeeze pumps to the Solo and larger tank types. Of the small handheld units the Solo is my favorite although mine does not have the wand just the spray head and nozzle. I wasn’t sure I would like the moveable nozzle but have actually found it very useful. Since it is 1 liter capacity I mainly use it for misting moss and trees on display. I use a larger 2 liter one for hand application of small amounts of pest/fungicide and the bigger tank types for broadcasting fert. I don’t use the squeeze type anymore, too coarse a spray and also hard on the wrist.

I have a sprayer that is pretty much identical to yours, it is a very useful sprayer. I use it alot for insecticides and such. Works great for spraying a few to 50 or so plants at a time.

Yes, you want to use up 100% of the spray you mix up the same day as you mix the pesticide. Many pesticides begin breaking down the minute they are mixed with water, part of the design to make a plant safe to handle 24 hours after being sprayed. So never mix a pesticide and then store the diluted mix for more than a few hours. Agitate before using if it has stood still for a while.

For big jobs, I have a battery operated backpack sprayer, for the farm. To water the trees and orchids, I use a garden hose. A sprayer just does not hold enough water to really flush the media in the pots.

Has anyone tried one of these. They look like they could be very handy. I have one without the adjustable wand and it is great. The adjustable wand gives one a lot more options I would think.

Picked one of these up a while back based on a previous thread on the topic.
I found the spray cone was of no value to me so I took it off, but otherwise it has been nice. I mainly got it for lime sulfur (which clogged my previous spray bottles) and it worked great, I have also used it for liquid fertilizer and compost tea. The adjustable angle tip is really handy.
I have seen some almost identical (but cheaper) versions at local big box stores and might get one or two more so I can dedicate them to specific tasks.
I don't have manny trees so the size is just about perfict for my needs.

That is something I had not considered before. Thanks!

Would that be true for fungicide also?
