Also there were some vendor awards and some blue ribbons....
Agreed. While both are great, the one on the rocks stood out. Well done.@mattspiniken I have really enjoyed looking at your trees, both so impressive in person
I gotta say the one on the rocks is really inspiring
Exactly.I thought how Michigany that rock one is, very nice.

Thank you sir, and congratulations on your award, beautiful tree, great pot pairing. Not sure exactly what those are but I took these pics just for you.
That’s a neat lil’ Salix!I got a lot of cheap beginner stuff, 1 year old tiger bark, Japanese red maple, Chinese plum
Also a willow that I will need help with, desperately needs repotting
Few cheap pots and a branch cutter
Thank you. My daughter hates the yellow. I tried telling her that it is a Sonny Boggs put and worth something but she was like "no". Now it's grown on her (in like 10 days ).I love it, leaves, trunk, flowers... I’m not even a yellow pot kinda guy, yet my beginner eye would not want anything different
Great purchase
Mark Fields who had the winning professional display with the same tree had this one and I snapped it up. That's the pot it was in.Well I give her credit for being honest the first time, then admitting she changed her mind, everybody is happy now!
Did you repot or was the tree as is at the show?
I came late there and I don’t recall seeing it for sale
