Bog Tamarack #3. So dope.

By no means out of the woods yet. But….
For now, I’m excited for this tree.

So far, I’ve just been keeping it wet, and in a spot that gets a break in the early afternoon-with dappled shade- and around 5-6 hours direct sun. I do think it’s important to keep the root balls on these newly collected trees cool. Healing the black nursery pots into the ground may help.

It’s been a bit since I posted an update on this one. It has been repotted into a cedar grow box.

Appears to be a lot less lichen? Did you remove some or is that environmental? I Have a different type on mine. Not on the tree itself but in the soil. And on my juniper collected same spot.
