A True Bonsai Tree

There is no other definition. The easiest definition for bonsai "I" tell people (this is not definitive mind you) is that after you have trained some branches with wire and removed it. Rewired the tree and then removed it again, you have reached a place that could be called bonsai. Depending on your creative, talent and technique, it may still look like shit, but at least it has met some criteria of what makes a plant a bonsai.

If after two wiring sessions you still have a plant that looks like shit, maybe stamp collecting is a way to go.....

For instance... About a year ago I put M. Frary on ignore. I love his posts, they are funny. Now Bolero! Putting him on ignore is a bad idea. Bolero is pure entertainment. To miss reading the next installment of this crazy bastard is to miss the next great stand up comedian. Bolero is the "Larry the Cable Guy" of bonsai.

It would be the Intellectually Honest thing to do...

In your abstract mind what is the ultimate bonsai tree for us to copy?

This would be the intellectual thing to do?

Pines, Junipers and other Conifers are the Easy ones, then Japanese Maples...

Start with photo's. What is your inspiration.

Your quote above is the wrong way around. Anybody worth their weight in bonsai knows that. You don't get second chances with conifers. Maples can be taken down to stumps at any point and be completely redesigned in 5 years.

You have a lot to learn. I am asking you to put up or shut up cause you don't have a clue about this art form from what I can see.

Post up those pictures, or just go away...I am tiring of this back and fourth and you never build a case. Just gibberish.

I am trying to stay cool, and I should stay away from this post, but who the hell do you think you are? Are you going to tell me what color to paint my house? Who I should vote for? What church I should attend? Intellectually honest? Clean your own room and don't worry about others. Stop acting like a moronic ass.
Waite, maybe you are grooming yourself for political aspirations. Or the pulpit?

Stay cool, we are in dicy area here. Don't want to piss him off and actually go away without the prize. I have thrown a lot of darts at the balloons and still have no bear. Trust me this will be worth it. I think he's close....I bet he's looking for pictures as we speak. I can hardly wait.....
