Last year my wisteria tipped over in a just of wind. Tree and pot seemed to fare okay. But apparently the pot was compromised. While watering my bonsai...I noticed a pretty crackle finish on my wisteria's pot. Now I don't recall it having a crackle finish. So upon a closer look...I noticed a slight chip and crack in the pot.

Tossed some superglue in the crack...and will repeat the possess over a short time frame. In hopes to hold off on a repot.

In the meantime...my husband thinks I should have a back up pot. So...I'm going to look around. It's in a 6"x6"x5 1/2" cascade pot currently.

That sucks! I've used quality duct tape (yes there are different types) on a couple of my cracked pots. Might be worth a try.

Are you looking for a similar back up pot appearance wise? Throw up a pic of the whole pot and tree and I'm sure we can offer some suggestions in all price categories...that is of course if you are looking for suggestions.

Either way, sucked when a pot breaks!

That's a great idea...didn't think any further than the pot cracking. Here is what it's currently in. I really don't want to over fuss the roots since it was repotted last year.

Note: I was thinking of just similar shape...but, if someone thought of a better match that wouldn't overly disturb those roots. I might be persuaded to consider possibly.

I didn't know you wanted to keep it pretty  I thought you just wanted to keep it together until a repot. You should call Wigert's since you just got that off white pot from them. They can probably match up something in a flash.

Hey if hubs says you should have a back up, why disagree? :)

I like the pot it's in, shouldn't be hard to find something similar. I'm no pairing expert but other than the nice creme I think a light green or light brown would probably look good. I know there guidelines or "rules" regarding pairing but ultimately it comes down to what you want.

Maybe too light but a thought after a quick look around. I hope others chime in with suggestions.

I would like to slip pot it...and leave a repot for a few years so I can enjoy some blooms.;) I'll send wigert's a PM on FB. Since that's how I contacted them through the FB auction. Thanks for the suggestion.

Edit: They'll look tomorrow for me to see what they have. Thanks Vin for the suggestion! My husband's favorite tree...I told him I superglued it...and he just stated...buy another pot. So...I must! Lol

Thanks...I too looked around. I think after seeing it in bloom with the color pot it's currently in...makes it hard to choose another color. But that pot looked nice. Thanks for looking.
