What type of bonsai tree is this

Going from inside straight to outside without conditioning can be problematic, we can get into the details of that later, but since this is basket case now, just put it outdoors in full east sun, or whatever sun you can, and water every day it doesn't rain. It lives or dies. There aren't many here who didn't kill their first tree, so get over it. You are here now and we'll walk you through making #2 work for you. Give it a week or ten days to respond because it may revive. You have a 50~50 chance. Your next tree is what we will talk about here, meanwhile. Lots of people will suggest, and debate a little, show some pictures, and you'll make a choice based on what sounds best for you. Do you have some ground outdoors for a hardy tree that can stay outdoors in winter, or are you an apartment dweller looking only for a houseplant?

I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only person here that absolutely, positively has no idea of what your weather zone is like. You need to google weatherspark your city and change your location to a city that weatherspark covers so we can tune in. Here is Skopje and you can see that they leave no stone un-turned in describing all the conditions thereabouts. Seems to me there are lots of mountains around there and they affect the weather a lot.

For an outdoor hardy tree, you need to start looking around your neighborhood to see what people plant in the landscape. Look for something you like the shape of that has small leaves. Show us pictures of things you like the look of.

@Forsoothe! yeah i just put it out today on my balcony where there is proper sun in the morning till.. 12 pm lets say. Will water each day when no raining so we will see... Yeah i know many of us killed our first tree.. Here is picture of where i currently put it cause at this place sun lasts longer .. is it okay place or very bad? p.s. I know it looks so sad :(

Anyway to answer some of your questions.. I am in apartment at Skopje and looking for houseplant some bonsai (or .. it can be some other looking good tree) that i can keep inside... But bad thing is that place where i can keep inside ..there is not too much light and not sure if any sun gets in.. only on balcony. I was looking in Skopje at some of the shops online with better rating... maybe i can send you link even tough it is in my language pictures and names are there :). So you can propose some of them for my indoor tree wish? :D

And for outdoor, back at my hometown Ohrid I have house with big yard so there i can place some bigger tree but i will ask that question here when time comes, first i want to find my happy tree at my apartment 🌳

Thanks a lot and let me know if i can some more info!

You can't tell the size difference of Ficus benjamia verses Ficus benjamia 'Too Little' varieties in a photo because 'Too Little' is dwarf and they look exactly alike. There are many varieties. I like variegated and golden, others do not. There are lots of Figs which are called Ficus microcarpa which are mis-named, all are good for you anyway. Figs and Arboricola will stand low light pretty well, but there are procedures to transition them from indoors to outdoors and back again each year, and we will discuss that later. Others may add suggestions...

Thanks a lot @Forsoothe! To be honest there is not too much choise here for bonsai.. figures that you sent a lot better... But from the links i sent i think for me favorite is Ficus microcarpa (second image you sent from my links). But i am in no rush will wait maybe there will be some new trees! Anyway just to be clear when i said my first tree i meant first bonsai tree. Because I have one Benjamin (not sure what type of Benjamin it or is it Benjamin at all) for almost 2 years and it is looking good. Below is image :)

Yes, it looks healthy, so you can have any fig that you admire!

Awesome if it’s a persimmon. Keep it alive, keep researching, and hope you find out. 👍🏻
