I like the theme as long as a random comment not containing a picture won't be avoided or condemned in a righteous effort to adhere to the rules. It's the only reason I don't participate, unfortunately, because some people are sticklers for the rules... not the intention. But generally I love watching this post. 😁
It's really only a problem when people start a back and forth conversation derailing the thread. Plenty of areas and threads for that. 1748528020679.png
Cleaned up this E Hemlock. It's a work in progress.

Cool photo. I really like how it's displayed.👍

Thanks for responding, I kinda wish I could take it back. But, oh well. 🤷‍♂️ 🙂

A year ago:

Forests evolve faster than single trees, meaning many things can happen .... The left first tree died 3 months after the planting (it was replaced). 5 months after replanting an unkown desease afected this forest and about 15 more trees. I had to struggle for 4 months to try to save them. Finally as spring begun about 6 were alive and growing. One of them is this forest

Releveled and spaced three more of the bench supports. have one more to set in place - maybe today - and then the benches are done. I may change the planks on the other side though to match the new planking.

After I start the veggie garden rebuild.

Worked on my other E Hemlock till dark last night

I'm glad you posted again. This is cool too. is it as far along as the other..?
I wanted to ask you about using wood for pots. The other Hemlock is in a cutoff log for a pot and I was wondering if it was finished in any way before the trees went into it.

Some work I did this week on some of my trees in development.

Defoliated this Trident Maple and ended up taking off some of the upper branches that were growing out of proportion:

Pruned back this Ficus (added a couple guy wires to the branches on the right after I took the photo):

Pruned back and partially defoliated this shohin Olive, it's finally starting to fill out:

Went to Longwood Gardens.
Finally renovations are finished. I guess I am getting too old. I wish they kept the old parts and just added new parts...

I guess the bald cypress would be representative of the unnatural nebari as mentioned by @Cajunrider , though I like the proportions.
