What did you do today? Show us Pic Required

Spent much of the long weekend finishing off the breakfast room and bathroom. Almost there. Need to attach the sink and I think I’m done. Much more immediate satisfaction than bonsai

Like the tree thread, a pic required w/each post. Just for fun.
I thought it would be a fun thread for everyone to post what the did today regarding their Bonsai collection, along the lines of the tree thread where a pic is required or it didn't happen w/your post. Before and after even better but not required.

I like the theme as long as a random comment not containing a picture won't be avoided or condemned in a righteous effort to adhere to the rules. It's the only reason I don't participate, unfortunately, because some people are sticklers for the rules... not the intention. But generally I love watching this post. 😁

began extending the benches... going from 16ft total linear feet of bench to 40ft (two rows of 20ft).

There is a chance next year of extending it to 60ft if I add a tier... but I want to convert the open vegetable garden to a 32ft cold greenhouse for a combination overwintering the trees and growing cold hardy crops in winter.

Still may need to make another run for some bags of levelling stone.

A few weeks ago, I spotted a freshly broken branch beneath a beautiful Black Locust tree around the corner. Inspired by the (so far) successful experiment with hardwood cuttings from my crabapple, I decided to try propagating this one too. Just a few days ago, the cuttings began pushing out their first leaves, so today I transferred them into individual pots—then tucked them back into the box to maintain high humidity. It’s a long shot, but it’s a free one. Fingers crossed!
