Last pottery class , but it should push me to fire up the used kiln I bought...
Picked up glazed thi8ngs and glazed 2 last pots still to be fired.

Tried underglaze painting again, the first one I tried melted into clear glaze to the point of ghostlinest...

Had an extra set of hands today. Finished assembly on the first of four new bonsai benches. Basic style with 2by6 tops and 4by4 legs.
each bench uses 5 2by 6 8ft length, 12 ft of 2by4 and 12 feet of 4by4. pressure treated wood, will stain in the spring when I can do it outside.
Bench measures 8 feet in length 26 inch height and 22 inch width! The project will add 32 feet of display bench. Next up is the shade structure for a portion of the overall display space. It is taking a while to complete the new setup after moving from the acreage.

I was given a space at a local Nursery to sell my plants, pots, and Bill's soil. I also printed a Bonsai table out of a walnut based red mahogany PLA. Thanks again Bill.

Collected 4 hornbeams and 2 hackberries today. Barely made it out of the woods before dark.

Went for a walk after work.

Pitch pine and oak.. a few potential options for collection. The large pitch needs to be chopped down but might be collectable in a few years. Might chop it in spring and see what happens..

I bought just one of these basket thingies to see if I can secure my trees a bit better, and lift some of the others off the floor to view at a slightly better height. Now I can buy 18 more for the rest
It should also make a cleaner environment since my little one is becoming more mobile

Oh, and I massacred my juniper to within an inch of its life, it’s sitting in the background there

Played with junipers - sargentii, plain chinensis and 2 Angelica blues. All 50% off Christmas decore from 2023. Nothing was done since I bought them, they grew well over the summer and were thick and bushy. Decided to practice opening them up and prepping for the future, if any...
