New pot for this 'ginseng'. This was thought dead and given to me. It through buds, I cut of some roots and carved out the uro to get rid of some of the typical ginseng look. Growing out the top section slowly to flow into the trunk. Finally starting to get some character.

Walkabout with my dogs and treasure hunting. Because there are objects out there with a lot of potential.

The clam is not indigenous and totally invasive. However unconventional it might be, I have thought that I may find a use for it in bonsai.

I plan on trying to establish ROR with some of the trees that I have gathered, collected. I think the rocks have a lot of character

And also, I think Tanuki I will try at some point.

And how cool would it be to have that tree stump as part of a collection. Straight up Driftwood. It was so cool in person. Ginormous.

On the way from pottery class noticed somebody dumped, I though, 3 yews. So I got husband's truck and went to take a look - 2 yews and a holly. The holly was the only one I could lift by myself.

Brought it home and got DH to come and help me with the yews. I am lucky he indulges my whims. 😀
Anyways, it got dark and the holly and the tall yew are in barrel segments in mulch, the yew stump has its roots soaked and wrapped in thrash bags.

If anything it was a good workout, the rest remains to be seen. They'd be dead anyway.

Collected this Sierra juniper at around 7500 ft elevation . Thought I was going to die from the altitude sickness 🤣. That shit was intense lol

At 7500 ft? Damn I thought I was bad, but mine doesn't kick in 'til about 9000 ft.

It’s easy to get exhausted at elevation. Maybe you need a helper next time. Hint hint.

Obligstory pictures. Today I did some heavy bending, moving the live vein around on this California.

Set up the new work studio. Design focused YouTube channel incoming.

(But do we really need another? No Scriv... no we don't. Still gonna do it).

Painted a new Background for the studio. Still trying to decide which I like better... smokey grey or adobe clay.
