Perfect camouflagelittle dude sleeping nicely in a baobab
Grey tree frog! Another favorite. They’re so loud here you have to raise your voice to speak. We call them tookie -tookie frogs. You know they can throw their voice and change color?I'm a little conflicted on this one! I love snakes...but Jeff Phidian and his family live on our house. They sleep the day in my grill...or in storage with the seat cushions...or in my trees. At night they climb the house to sing and to hunt

My first instinct is that it's a cottonmouth, but I looked it up and it appears to be a Northern Watersnake, which is harmless to you. I still wouldn't get close just in case.
She’s very tame. Doesn’t mind me being around or my dog. I know they say they’re aggressive but I don’t see it. It reminded me of the time.......... it was a cool summer evening.... we were playing cards and left the door open to cool the warm room. She bid hearts no trump.@cbroad , sorry I am not a snake lover. When I was much younger a big black snake crossed our path when riding my horse, and she freaked out and threw me. Many years later, I opened the french doors that housed my washer and dryer (dryer vents to the outside) to find a snake sitting on top of my dryer. Much hilarity ensued as my mom and I tried to get it out of the house manned with a broom and a a pair of tongs. Freaked me out. I bear them no harm, just don't want to see them.
OK, this one hardly seems welcomed. Looks like they could defoliate a tree in a day!
