He looks very appreciative not to have been mowed!Finally had a chance to mow my in-laws yard between the rains in the wettest desert I ever saw. I barely saw this tiny toad before it got mowed down. It almost looks like it's smiling from the front. It's no bigger than a pencil eraser.

I think of slugs as leeches for plants.Leopard slug. They're huge!
When I did farm work and was harvesting crops these guys would crawl up my arms and up the back of my neck trying to find a high spot.
