Good Morning! I just wanted to give a shout out to Rob Wallace and his fabulous bonsai containers!

I recently traveled to his studio to pickup some custom work he completed for me.

Don't let the picture fool you... The small container on top are 21" wide. The beige container is 31" and the bottom one is 29"

I was extremely pleased to use the beige container with a tree I have been developing for more than a decade. Here is my Angel Oak inspired boxwood.

You can shop his containers at https://www.etsy.com/shop/wallacewoodspottery

He is also a member here @ForrestW

Thank you Rob! I appreciate your the high quality container you produce, as well as the efforts you continue to make to meet my needs!!

I definitely have to hook up with him for my BC pots.
He does an iron oxide finish that I think works very well with the reddish bark of cleaned BC. His rounds also work well for those trees with more than one front... I probably won't use this one for a BC forest but with a different finish it could be spectacular... 29"

Awesome pots! It is not easy to make pots that large with little-to-no warping or sagging in the middles, well done!

I got a chance to meet Rob at Bonsai Central this year. Super nice guy and he has some stellar trees too!
Also finally ordered and received a pot from him a few weeks ago. Can't wait to put something in it.

He does have some excellent trees!

being the end of the season, neither are blooming currently. But my Wallace Woods (@ForrestW ) pots are currently used as high desert and mountain terrain accent containers.

Native pussy toes, blue gramma and prickly pear cactus. 2 years in this pot now

I love that weathered look! Special colours which make it look ancient. To far away to visit, but keeping it in mind for any future journey. Thanks for sharing 😃
