The Tree Thread

Took a tip from BVF and photographed at night with flash. One of my goals for this is to learn how to properly photograph (and edit) my trees. This is on my phone, but I have a DSLR to practice on too.

The dark-sky-as-background technique doesn’t work as well in the urban core, so I used the park lights in the background to play into the composition, if you will.

Dont know if anyone remembers the Stewartia on the Eisen sale thread. I want to grow my Pommegranate like that, may opt to take out the heavy middle section and grow out the far right branch. Little bit of bulk on my lower trunk but the base will get there...

Beech, two airlayers taken from the central trunk and planted together.
