The "say something nice about the person above you" thread

I can't let this thread die, I think it's something we all need. I especially can't leave @sorce hanging. You sir, are as kind hearted and as generous as they come and I wish you great success on your new website. Everybody, go buy a pot!

I came by here the other day and almost said something nice about myself!

@Moridin ... second thread ? ...was offering us all a free outlet for assistance with auto parts and questions. Of which I promptly took advantage of and he's been helping me since!

He's helped me with my website as a download guinea pig, through that I learned he is good father.

You all don't need to say anything nice about me, but I will be here often to attempt to get in nice words about Everyone!

Next!

Sorce

Sorce. What else can I say? Sometimes you leave me speechless. Love you man.

I’ve communed with beings like @penumbra on separate “plains”...

He represents a “gatekeeper” or “ferryman” archetype..at least to me.

Penumbra will understand this compliment.

🤓

@leatherback , you have a great deal of knowledge and are generous with sharing it, but your sense of humor is what draws me to read your comments. I see something humorous you wrote and think "that's just what I would have said", but you always beat me to it!

I like @Japonicus because I consider him a gentle soul. I use that term as praise. Someone who is at one with himself, and who enjoys life and the beauty of living. He sees the wonder in the world around him, and enjoys bonsai because it brings him joy of the wild empty spaces. Plus he lives in W.Va... which is truly God's country.

Bonsai Nut, the grace you see in others is a reflection of your own true spirit. You are one of very few people here who post that I make every effort to read.
I do agree heartily in your comment above.

...and I think you are awesome. I appreciate you letting this ugly mutt in the club. Thought I had shut the thread down there with my post.
At least in the continental states, W. Va. (the abbreviation from yesteryear) was the last state in the union to see a case of covid-19 probably in all 50.
Thanks for that shout out! We harbour one of the doomsday bunkers for the president in this state, have a top 10 US target from abroad,
and keep a lot of lights on in this country.

I appreciate you and your input @Bonsai Nut and for the hard work and effort keeping this forum afloat.
God knows it is and has been a plethora of inspiration and knowledge.
Thank you! :)

@penumbra and you're a kind soul as well. I appreciate being able to "rub shoulders" with folks like yourself who
are always supportive. You adorn the forum in many ways.

Absolutely not, I just didn't want to respond because it would look like I was garnering attention, which is so not true. But you are just such a kind and thoughtful person. I know you've had some severe weather challenges this year, but you didn't complain and I would have. You also have wonderful taste in your kitchen design, your new table and jewelry ;).

Garnering...no, everybody knows better than that.
I thought I was complaining, but just knowing the devastation in Texas, I had nothing but thankfulness
our power was out only 5 days, had running water on this side of the ridge, and a portable generator
to keep our fridge chilled. It's a shame what they've had to endure.
Thank you for being so kind.

Japonicus, I am always so happy to see you post upbeat, constructive posts, building up the OP and helping out.
Ha thanks man! I appreciate your willingness to help out when you can too.
Seem to be pretty talented with the camera too :)
