And then, because of "weapons of mass destruction" that never existed, hundreds of thousands of people killed. To put in place a sort of "American democracy" ? Er...

Learn something : we also do have a bicameral system. And a legal systyem : lying when in office is a cause for empeachment in our legal system. A former president (Nicolas Sarkozy) will have to face justice because of false declarations of presesidential campaign spendings. A former (socialist) minister was sentenced to two years in jail for not declaring offshore accounts (200,000 €, that's about 160,00$). A minister had to resign for harassing a female collaborator (not grabbing her pussy, just harassung her).
