Last year summer was hot and dry so I did not prune ill late in summer. Not paying attention is now taking revenge. Only 5 branches have flowerbuds this year. But.. SOOOO many new branches!

Just love what you’ve made with this tree! Do you have alternate pot plans? I could think a glazed oval would be great too. The off center placement messes with me a bit, but that may be intentional! Such a beauty though.

Jay, arrived undamaged.
The pot is better IRL (as is pretty much everything!). The pot is slightly shallow, but will work I think.
