I like all these functions man! On mobile however, I'm sometimes unable to scroll and type after posting a picture. Android, running chrome. Especially large pictures can make the text box inaccessible.

I also noticed that when the @ list becomes pretty long (for instance with the prefix bonsai ...), and/or contains spaces in names, I'm unable to scroll down on mobile because the screen is too short. So five more similar threads suggested in the box below, would fix that with ease.

In Advanced Search I used to be able to search within a thread with the “This thread” choice. Now I can’t find it. This search is very helpful in very long running threads.

Something strangely not mentioned here - if a thread’s title is in bold it means it is unread, seems to apply to all unread content, so if you’ve been reading a thread earlier in the day and later see the title of said thread is now bold there are new replies you haven’t seen!

Also, clicking view more under recent threads takes you to the whats new page and scrolling will eventually show you a little bar, threads below that bar haven’t been updated since your last visit, threads above have, since the front page list only shows a limited amount of recently updated posts, view more is a useful button.

Also it seems search is now always advanced? I don’t mind, just wondering if it's intentional.

I changed the search engine. The new engine is called "advanced search"... though I agree it gets confusing because the old search had an advanced search option. They should have called it "turbo search" or something different.

@Bonsai Nut is there a way to see other users USDA zones on mobile?
I don’t wanna give any snarky comments on stuff in case a person might be in the arctic circle having a question about a tree then I give advice from the tropics

Something I never thought would be a problem before, but I like phones that fit in my pocket, not smallish tablets. So when I got a phone that's actually small enough for me, I've found that a great many sites are not adaptive to smaller screen sizes. I'll be missing a chunk off the right side, or can't scroll down. Even text gets cut off at the edge of the screen so I can't read the last half dozen characters. It's infuriating.

I don't have that problem on BNut! I've been through several different phones since joining the site, but never had any issues with the page fitting into my screen, or any other major functionality issues. Doesn't matter what browser either. It always loads in a 100% usable format.
A+ for basic web design considerations!👍 The little things count.

Turn your phone sideways (works for me at least).

When I tap a users name, I get that information in a pop-over.
