Phallus duplicatus, netted stinkhorn. Quite beautiful today after the especially disgusting baby poop slime came off the cap overnight, although the net was more pronounced yesterday. Truly, horrifically putrid, like a dozen dead squirrels were left in my garden on a 100 degree day. Get a lovely variety of stinkhorns in my garden every fall 🤢.
 
On the collected juniper where I had a board covering the surface to keep it from getting too wet… Maybe that didn’t work out so well with this tree?

This one was harvested this past spring in the mountains of North Carolina. It’s a Reshi and I found it growing on a hemlock tree. Where I found it there was thousands, some 5x this size. This one is dried and ready for medical purposes 😉

I love love love lionsmane. I don't know if it makes me smarter but I get the coolest dreams. I had a dream where I was racing a Firarri on a Mario Cart track. 10/10, would recommend. I need like 2 tsp+ for it to make me dream like that.
