It turned around while I was fumbling with the phone. When it was head up, the eyes were shining the most brilliant green.

Never seen this happen before. I have ants living in the pot of a siberian elm root cutting so I moved it to a different spot. Now the ants are using the leaves like chambers to store their larvae.

Staying at a friend's house this weekend outside of Boston - magnolia scale on almost every square inch of a 20' tall; 20' wide magnolia... Never seen anything that bad!

1/3+ of the leaves covered in sooty mold from the honeydew.
