There is a huge variance in cold hardiness. Most will make it but will not put on growth this year. Some will grow a bit. Some will die. Smaller leafed green varieties are the hardiest. Large leafed varieties suffer the most, especially those with red leaves. Of course the rarest and most expensive ones are doomed due to Murphy's Law.
