I do so hope this was a sarcastic remark. Let's please stop all direct fiddling with genomes. Cross-breeding sure. But editing genomes.. I get really concerned

I am a scientist myself and funnily, in charge of a programme working on Engineering for Poverty Alleviation... My remark has NOTHING to do with anti-science.

Good and bad exists here. Some genetic tampering to plants destroys pollinators ability to do their job. Pollinators needed for many or most food crops. When hives suffer problem snowballs. Good would be to make me stronger, taller, increase healthy life span, end tooth decay, baldness, stop ears, noses, skin tags, moles from growing, etc.
