Had a damp night, just enough to keep the surface wet, but once the sun rose, the grass dried up. Hopeful for some real rain. We had a real spring (winter/summer transition) this year. Now we're having an actual autumn. Are we getting honest-to-goodness seasons? Whatever the case, I'm enjoying a few weeks now of mild temperatures and beautiful weather before the winds pick up.

I'm unscientifically predicting a late, short winter with average temperatures.

Looks like the 90s are gone for the year. Ports (and a Ficus benjamina with a couple variegated jade) are still outside, but potted up from the grow bed and placed in two 10 gallon aquariums, easy to bring in and out until it stays too cold during the daytimes.

37° at 8 am this morning. It's that time of year when I wear a heavy pullover to work, tank top and shorts to home. 91° early this afternoon.

Hide-n-seek time here. Seek the sun and hide for the rain. This is the first sign of winterweather arriving and most of winter will we have this. drizzling or raining. Dry enough to walk around with a light waterrepellen jacket. Temps moving around between 10F and 60F
