Please Research Your Decisions.

I’m so sorry for your losses. I’m glad you continue coming to this forum and sharing your passion. I for one know Bonsai is my escape from the daily grind and stresses of the day. Your photos of beautiful trees are always a welcome site.
Thank you...I did take a leave for a bit...of all social media to just try to breathe and get through it all. Our hobby...having my trees. Really helped me during isolating at home.

This works until it doesn't. Its all good, I have been taking all of these and many more for several years. I take supplements that most people have never even heard of. I spend more on supplements than I do on food and clothes. I think it has helped me immensely. Still, it didn't spare me from two bouts of Lyme Disease, and that's not even a huge social issue.
Hell yeah, I got my vaccinations, but I got them more for you than I did for me. If you don't get this, ................, well, you just don't get it.
With all due respect, this virus has a 0.3% chance of killing a young healthy person with no comorbidities. Also, I'm not encouraging anyone not to get the vaccine. If you read what I wrote, you'll see that I actually encourage people to get the vaccine if they think they need it. I just refuse to be a test dummy for this, with no compensation. I don't think that's unreasonable at all.
I'm certainly no anti-vaxxer, but I do like long-term clinical trials and tests. From what I've heard, a vaccine like this would normally have at a minimum a two-year trial. Personally I'd like to see four or five years down the line, but maybe in two years I'll consider it. As long as everyone I know who's been vaccinated isn't dropping dead or having their hearts burst out of their chest, I'll probably get it.

that 1 of every 333.33 people who get it im pretty sure for probability

Part of why these vaccines were able to be so quickly developed and deployed is that incredibly similar mRNA vaccines for SARS had already gone through safety testing. By the time efficacy testing was starting, the SARS epidemic was disappearing, so an effective clinical trial couldn't be done. For the COVID vaccines, pharma companies reused the same technologies and the trial periods weren't foreshortened, merely the review and paperwork. Some of the trial phases (efficacy and safety) did overlap, but those are long since completed

Well.....we'll find out soon enough why the Chinese government was developing vaccines for covid-19 before they mentioned anything about it.....

It’s interesting crossing into Illinois.. and seeing people actually WEARING masks.. in Wisconsin... I haven’t seen anyone (other than myself) wearing masks in crowded, public locations... in MONTHS...seriously...not one.

If we don’t get over ourselves and learn to attempt to even IMITATE intelligence, for long enough to “get into the groove” of this whole “working together” thing...
It WON’T matter.. and the next “big deal” event.. will WIPE US OUT. (Well not ME... People like ME will be just fine..🤣)

Just wanted to get one last observation and relating spongebob picture before this thread... um.. “Titanic”s... yup.. I made a verb.

@Cadillactaste I am sorry if this thread is bringing up some bad memories for you and I am sorry that your family suffered through it
Thank you. 💗 it is a very sensitive topic because of the hell we went through.

Then my own brother his much needed open heart surgery was postponed because they couldn't find two days in three different hospitals in the ICU for recovery. His aneurysm was an 8 in size months back. Typically done when it is a 4. But he needed to lose weight at that time it was a 6. Then finally hit the mark for weight goal and covid kept him from having it. When he got in...the surgeon said he had 2 weeks to 2 months before the aneurysm ruptured something about the wall of the aneurysm. I am so grateful to still have my brother with us...recovering from the aneurysm and mechanical valve he needed.

But no one will know, or grasp what we went through... the aftermath of my mother in laws death. Didn't allow us time to grieve. It's just to much...

This song...got us through. My son and I...still cry listening to this song...because God only knows.

I am in no way claiming this is fact but just asking a question to see if anybody knows. Didn’t the sars vaccine development fail and end up killing the animals in trials or something like that When the virus was reintroduced to the vaccinated animals? I read about it so long ago I can’t remember So don’t rage on me if I’m way off.

regarding the COVID vaccine, I’m glad folks are getting it to help fight the spread but at the same time don’t really trust it because we dont yet know the long term impacts it may have. i don’t trust the pharmaceutical companies, neither should you. I don’t trust the government regardless of who is in power and neither should you. And I sure as shit don’t trust China. I think we need to question things and get answers ourselves To the best of our ability.

I understood the risks and even got a first dose Of moderna. Would have received the second, but I had an adverse reaction. not life threatening but three months out and I’m still dealing with it. Most family members have been fine but I have some friends who have had issues. I think most people don’t report their reactions to VAERS And there are more than we know.

freedom of speech. perhaps it should be in the teahouse though
That has nothing to do with privately owned websites. If its against the rules, then “Freedom of speech” doesn't matter. Luckily Greg isnt too heavy handed with the moderation.

But Im just here in this thread for the bullshit anyways, the last place I would get medical advice is fucking Youtube, or a Bonsai forum lol

Seems like sorce was bored and wanted some red meat echos from like minded individuals, which is fine- maybe better suited to a youtube comment section? Im sure that Q scam isnt far behind vaccine mis-information though, so watch that rabbit hole.

but I will be here for the fun until it gets locked because of personal attacks or it gets too political.

I hope you know that my reply you referenced was not directed toward you. I was just using data you listed about some helpful supplements.
I was always an anti vaxer, even wrote a sci fi story about it being an avenue to introduce nanobots. I was anti vaccine until I wasn't. I was swayed by the fact that my brother, sister and I all have varying degrees of cardiac distress and COPD, my mother is in a nursing home and my father died in December. Like I said, I was swayed be these factors but the push point for me was I did it for the common good. I did it for you.
Yeah, guess that makes me a bleeding heart, so I'll wear that with honor. :D

I'm glad the vaccine is here and that I was able to get it. We can't rely on each other to work together because that makes us evil socialists 🤪, so we have to fend for ourselves. Now I am protected against those who don't care about others.

@sorce Almost 10,000 people died last week from covid. Just go down to the local hospital where covid patients are sitting on ventilators in ICU and let those doctors see your Joe Rogan video and see what they tell you. I don't think you're a bad guy with evil intent in your heart, but it's dangerous and irresponsible to be giving medical advice to yourself much less anyone else.

Perhaps? Some youtube video about vaccines is not even remotely related to bonsai. And this is just a few weeks after that ridiculous plea for random strangers to give this guy money. If he's the resident troll, then fair enough, but at least keep the posts in the right forums. Otherwise, why even have different forums in the first place?
