Here is the result. I saw the first buds a week ago, but i prefered to take pics later , as the buds are bigger (easier to see).
There are mainly 1 or 2 buds. Sometimes none, or 3 or 4, but this is rarer. I do not observe a delay in the appearance of buds when leaving a piece of candle compared to a complete cutting of candle.

On some tips, I did nothing (1 or 2 small candles) ->
On others, i pinched the longest ones ->
On this tip, I let the 2 longest candles (before-after) ->

The goal is to have two candles of the same vigor on each end of the shoot. But sometimes I only have one or even none, but it's rare that I have none.
