Hello,

1000062895.jpg I have a Pinus Thunbergii with a wire mark, and I need to glue its own bark over that area to conceal it. What is the best adhesive to use for this purpose, ensuring it withstands rain and weather conditions? Has anyone done this before and can offer advice?

Thank you,
Jenr

I use cut paste.
But I'm not sure if cut paste will hold the bark securely, and it might come loose with rain and sun exposure. I was thinking of using epoxy glue instead.

If you insist upon doing this, use a silicon sealer / adhesive. Epoxy normally gets brittle with age.

Just let the tree grow and develop new bark an option for you?
Even with the bark glued on to conceal the mark, the tree can grow and develop new bark over time, maintaining a good appearance in the meantime.
