PIGLET CHAPTER 2

Thanks for the update, truly inspiring tree!
I'm not sure if it was mentioned before but , do you pinch your trident or just defoliate? I've got a trident I'm trying for a oak style.

Thanks Johnny!

Thus far I have let this tree extend and then cut it back. Main reason is that I am not quite yet in the refined phase of its development. Once I am there I will most likely start pinching to avoid shoots from getting too thick and maintain a "soft" silhouette.

I love this tree so much!! This is becoming the standard by which all other Tridents are judged. I've really enjoyed watching it's development from when Judy had it through your involvement. You've definitely taken it to the next level, Sergio. I appreciate seeing a D-tree that doesn't conform to the typical Japanese formulas. It's looking like a very powerful, natural tree. Bravo!!

Thank you @misfit11! Most certainly, the original grower, Don Blackmond and more recently, @JudyB , all contributed greatly in setting this tree for success.

Looks like piglet is expanding nicely in all the right ways. Do you have a pot chosen as yet? Will be exciting to see set off in something nice.

She sure's got junk in the trunk! 😆

Yes...this! But VERY $$$$$ So... not sure yet. What say you?

Certainly a stunning pot, something is off for me for with Pig tho. Either the color of the painting or the decorative band....almost feels like it's trying too hard. maybe it'd grow on me...
