Piñon pine #2

No piñon pines in this neck of the woods so I don’t have any experience with them but yours looks great IMO… and I think even better in the new container. Look forward to seeing them combined!
 
My Josef Rauscher pot from Bonsai Kreativ showed up today. Wowza. Quality is amazing and far better in person and it already looked good in photos. I also bought a small accent pot. Pretty dam excited.

yes, IMO, it is like beeing for real in front of a "real" good old tree : we are overcome by emotions that the photos do not convey at all. It may seem excessive but for me these stones have a soul : something is happening. I had the same feeling with Jan Culek shells I recieved. And the price is quite reasonable (imo).

Do you think it will be okay in terms of stability once the tree is in?

I def agree Clem. Lots of great subtle but important details in every nook and cranny.

The piece is def not stable, but I have a creative idea to make it stable!
