Photographers: Spill your guts here...

Some GREAT work there!
@Graft, so nice of you!
I've been doing this beauty and high fashion work since the seventies.
Work made me live in NYC, Madrid, Athens, Rio; and to travel a lot for the jobs.
To Japan I have been 5 times to teach photography, photoshop and lightroom.
So it is a fun life when Covid is not around...

I think you are very talented. I used to do still lifes for brochures. Very boring work. Only local stuff. One guy I did work for used to pay me in photography equipment! I was a beta tester for lightroom though. And was one of the first to get the original windows version (for free). RAW was a pretty new concept back then especially to the consumer. I used to use a RAW editor (Rawshooter) that Adobe bought to get Lightroom into windows, and as there were not too many people using RAW on windows at the time they asked a group of Rawshooter users if we would beta test the new software for windows. I remember pale skin tones would come out as the colour of your avatar background!

Nope, you are being generous.

Me too!!! For years, and getting it for free from Adobe as a gift. Nice times, crazy times, and GREAT interactions with Adobe's teams of geniuses.
Oh, I miss it!

1. Not at all!
2. Our rag-tag band of beta testers weren't quite at that level. (Things like use a slider not a switch etc.) But a few of us did get together for a photo-holiday which was great fun.

Photography is one of many things you need to figure out once you are engrossed in bonsai. So I'm still thrashing around....ain't no f-stop on my Handy-cam!?!?

Love your photo's @Clicio . I had a representative from a modeling agency pitch me to come in for a shoot back in the day. Well, not too long ago, as it regarded some "fit, middle-aged, mature look..."

First of all, thanks a lot.
I guess you could have been a great model. But the BRTs, you know, demand a lot of time....
😉

....local work, so, you know, the thought of exotic Brazil seemed more interesting than modeling flannel jackets and snow boots!.......🥶
