OT: In a modern day dogfight, how far can you visually see another fighter?

Looks just like the dog that latched on to my brother's Levi's when he was over the fence grabbing our Frisbee!! I had to jump the fence to distract him and then run and scramble back over!!
All while nursing some homemade frozen strawberry daiquiris!!
The only way to choke down cheap Bacardi!!!:confused::confused::rolleyes:
That's what greets intruders here. We don't get many.
You're lucky to get over the fence with your low hanging fruit.

How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
I love the silly question threads!
How dirty is the canopy on this fighter?
What kind of terrain is he over?
How much drinking did the pilot do before he took off?
How tall is the pilot?

What kind of/how many clouds are there.
Haze?
Is the pilot near sited or far sited?
Did he remember his glasses/sunglasses?
Is he facing into the sun or has his back to it?

There are any number of factors that might effect the answer

Is that Rupert?
No. That's Hank. He likes to play with rocks. Check out the teeth.A friend's dog. I took the picture. Standing in front of him while he is doing that is scary. But he's only just barking at me. And I know when Jay looses him he is only going to run over to be petted. 20160626_094145.jpg If you look at him in the eyes too long he goes off. He's a year older than Rupert.
This is Rupert and my wife. He's such a baby. I wouldn't try any funny business around his mom though. I'm his whole world but she comes in a close second. And since I'm away from home a lot this makes me very happy.
The picture of Hank is on Google images too. We're members of a German Shepherd Dog forum. Somehow Google picked it out.
Not sure how those things happen but it's like Hanks famous. If you're looking for pictures of angry German Shepherds.

Cane Corso for sure, and only 5mos old. His grandfather is a multi winning champion. His ears didn't come out as good as we would like, kind of on the big side for our liking. Here's a pic of his father on the right, and a brother from a previous litter. luca 631.jpg

Awesome dogs. I thought about getting one but I'm more familiar with German Shepherds. They are the best of the mastiff breeds training wise. Big,strong, powerful, lovey babies.

yeah and they need a lot of early training or they could go bad. They really need to be socialized a lot. We got him started with a pro trainer and it really helped because he was getting aggressive in some ways early on but he's good now. My brother -in- law breeds german sheperds and was wanting to give us one but my son had his eyes on the Corso for some time.

not talking about on radar. You're in the cock pit, you're following someone, and they hit the after burns. How far will you be able to see them? I need to settle a debate and this seemed like the appropriate place to do so. Thx.
It depends on VMC. It can be as many as 35 miles or a bit more even. BTW the weather people only report visibility to 10 miles.
