My Shohin Collection ....

I add to the accolades, of course. I have looked at your past threads as well. Just the most impressive set of trees that I have seen on this forum. I missed your contributions until you started posting again (fairly new here).
A question,if I may? Have you worked on (or with, rather) Tamarindus indica, as shohin? I only ask because 31 of the little dears have germinated for me, both in the ground and in pots. I will probably grow then on and try to use most as a group planting. But is there a future for some as mame or shohin? Thanks again for your overwhelming presentations. Like others here, I am a bit gob smacked by it all.

George ,

Nice trees! I was at the SABS meeting at your house earlier in the summer. Your collection is huge!! Something like 500-700 trees?!

You maintain this large of a quality collection by yourself? Thats more than a full time job! You must be very busy in spring!

I have so many students that helps me out maintain my collection and at the same time they can learn and apply to my shohin trees... It can get very busy at spring time...

Hi Maria, I'm hoping you can tell me how you care for your goji berry shohin. I've recently acquired one, and know little of them as far as in container growing. Yours looks fantastic.

Did you buy the one Scott listed last week? That was a seriously great tree.

But then there's shipping and customs plus the care and maintenance during the quarantine period to add. I'm not saying I would pay $600 but $300 doesn't seem way off base to me. I don't know though.

There is no legal importing into the US anymore. That's why I used the word smuggled.
