Just repotted it about a week and a half ago and it does not look good the roots were very tangled and hard to untangle I hoped that I did minimal damage but it seems to be drooping still and now most of the leaves seem dried out shall I take it out of the heat and put it inside or any ideas how to help it recover.

Do you have a picture?

has lost most of its leaves now do you think it will be ok I will see if I can take a pic

here are some pics

I hope all goes well!.. i know nothing of Acacia... but if it’s the root work from repotting that you are THINKING is causing this... i would say (again, do NOT know acacias) go for “bright shade” (no direct) cool and moist up top (mist if you need to) and normal /warmish temps around the roots....

I’m also not sure of timing... but BELIEVE acacias prefer spring repots..OR directly after July’s full moon (5th). but a week and a half ago...it would’ve been befooore....😬

I hope she/he bounces back... HARD!

🤓

Hmm, that doesn't look good. I have one that I have been considering repotting, perhaps I'll reconsider. Did you remove a large amount of roots?

No not really I had a very difficult time untangling the rootball it was very tight so I might have caused it a little too much trauma I do not know. I repotted my bullhorn acacia last month and it looked a little sad after I repotted it for a while but it has bounced back and is looking really good but I think I only removed 5% of its roots I think I probably removed about 10% on my rabbits foot. I used KLN to help with the repotting I am thinking maybe the acacia do not like the kln because it went further downhill after I used it for a second time because I was soooooo worried

When I re-potted my Sweet Acacia it lost every leaf and I thought it was dead. I held onto it and it came back well. But this re-pot was 2 months ago.

well I think my rabbits foot is a graft and it looks like the green is coming back at the graft point and nothing above that point any ideas!!!

Do they graft these? Green is good though. I repotted mine awhile back, it was really rootbound. Luckily, it showed no ill affects. Hope yours comes back for you.

I do not know for sure it looks like it was grafted but not sure I should probably contact the supplier and ask I have two of the rabbits foot now LOL
