Montery cypress styling ideas

What to do with this? Please post your opinions... There is no budding below and the trunk is hard and I'm not able to bend it. Styling ideas please

If you can't bend the trunk, you will probably be best styling it like an old pine, or a savannah type tree that has had all of its lower branches eaten. Cypresses in general, and Monterrey cypresses specifically, tend to become bulky trees as they age, with many examples of dual and multi-trunks. I don't know if you can get your hands on a second or third tree, but it might be interesting to style it as a small group planting.

Here is an example of some tall thin pines with interesting character on the top portion of the trunk. If you decide to go this route, be bold with your styling and use abrupt angles to contrast with the tall thin trunk.

Hey there,

Yes I eventually went on that path after a wiring accident on the apex.. turned it into a gin and created a small lifeline(prioritizing the health of the tree first) and I'll increase the lifeline eventually
